Desiccant-assisted Heat Pump (DAHP) Testbed

The DAHP experimental testbed supports the development and evaluation of next-generation desiccant-assisted heat pump systems. The facility provides precise control of air- and water-side operating conditions for integrated system testing while enabling detailed investigation of key DAHP components, including desiccant-coated heat exchangers (DCHXs).

DCHXs are one of the key components in the DAHP system, providing simultaneous heat and moisture transfer for high-efficiency air dehumidification. The modular test section enables detailed experimental evaluation of DCHX performance under a wide range of operating conditions.
